Foundational Training
For students who are new to kathak or those with a gap of over 5 years in their training, we offer a one year foundations course starting November 2025.
This is a one year module that will equip you with the basic skillset of kathak including hastaks, footwork, pirouettes and technical knowledge that is required for any beginner level student to progress.
Designed for the student who wants to begin their first steps into the rewarding world of Kathak through a series of focused and disciplined classes.
Age Criteria: 16+
Timings:
OFFLINE - Saturday 6:00pm to 7:15pm

Advanced Foundational Training (Advanced Beginners)
Positioned at the crossroads between foundational and intermediate levels, our advanced foundational batches are curated for students who either come with prior experience or consistently demonstrate a deep commitment to the art. These modules build on the basics while introducing more complexity in movement vocabulary, rhythmic layering, and abhinaya. Designed to nurture dancers who are progressively evolving in their practice, the training encourages refinement, introspective learning, and a heightened sense of musicality preparing students for the next phase of rigorous Kathak study.
Age Criteria: 16+
Eligibility: Practical knowledge of Teentaal
Timings:
OFFLINE - Tuesday 8:00pm to 9:15pm

Intermediate Training
For students who have a prior grounding in Kathak either through our foundational batches or elsewhere our intermediate training builds technical rigour, aesthetic awareness, and compositional agility.
Each module is crafted to balance structure with creativity, encouraging students to think choreographically while strengthening their rhythmic command. From complex footwork sequences to taal-badh compositions and reflective homework assignments, this level challenges students to develop personal discipline, expressive nuance, and a cohesive understanding of movement, music, and meaning.
Age Criteria: 18+
Eligibility: practical knowledge of Teentaal, Jhaptaal and Dhamaar.
Timings:
OFFLINE - Thursday 8:00pm to 9:15pm
